Youth killed for the first time to vote
Earlier, a young man who came to cast his vote was shot dead by unknown people outside a polling station in Cooch Behar district of Bengal. police gave this information
The Trinamool Congress alleged that the BJP was behind the murder, while the BJP claimed that the victim was a polling agent at the polling booth and blamed the ruling party in the state for this.
A police officer said that a young man named Anand Burman was dragged and shot outside booth number 85 in Pathanatuli area of Sitalkuchi. Voting was going on at the time of the incident
He said that after the incident, there was a clash between the Trinamool and BJP supporters and many people were injured as bombs were thrown outside the polling booth. The central forces had to lathi-charge to control the situation.
“We received information that a person was shot and killed outside a polling station in Sitalkuchi in Cooch Behar district,” an election official said. We have asked the supervisor to report as soon as possible and get information about the situation. ‘

Dismissing Ghosh’s claims, BJP candidate from Sitalkuchi, Barren Chandra Burman said that the deceased was the party’s polling agent at the booth and Trinamool activists are behind the killing.
Burman said, “He was our polling agent and was going to the booth when Trinamool goons shot and killed him.” Rabindranath Ghosh’s claim is completely false. We have informed the SP and the Election Commission about the incident and demanded that the culprits be arrested immediately. ‘
He also claimed that police or central force personnel were not present around the booth at the time of the murder.
