On-demand testing starts from July 18 through 25 hospital-5 mobile medical teams in Patna


Patna: While interacting with the media through video conferencing, Information and Public Relations Secretary Anupam Kumar gave an updated information about the work being done by the government regarding the prevention of corona infection and increased water level of various rivers.

The secretary informed that all necessary action is being taken by the government regarding the current status and testing of Kovid-19. In the light of CM’s directive, antigen test facility will be started in all subdivision hospitals of the state from Tuesday and the facility of antigen test will be started in all primary health centers in the next one week.

In this way, the health department is working towards providing maximum number of antigen tests. On demand antigen test will be done free of cost to all patients with corona symptoms.

Anupam Kumar said that on-demand testing has been started from 18 July in 25 hospitals and 5 mobile (mobile) medical teams in Patna and 808 people were screened in Patna yesterday, with 305 symptoms of corona infection. Patients with antigen test were also done.

He informed that this facility of investigation has been started in all the districts on the lines of Patna. For this, adequate testing kits especially antigen test kits have been made available in all districts. Now on-demand test will be done for Simomatic people in the district whose health institute wants to conduct their test.

Health Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh said that 826 people have become healthy in the last 24 hours from Corona. So far 16,597 people have recovered from the Kovid-19 infection and thus the recovery rate of Bihar is 62.91 percent. Since July 18, 638 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported so far, while 774 corona infections of July 17 and earlier have reported new cases.

Currently, there are 9,602 active patients of Kovid-19 in Bihar. Secretary, Health said that 10,276 samples have been examined in the last 24 hours and the total number of investigations conducted so far is 3,78,508.

The Health Secretary said that accessible and accessible places should be made available for screening of patients with corona symptoms. Such instruction has been given by the government to all districts. Apart from Patna, antigen testing has been started at 8 places in Gaya city and 6 places in Muzaffarpur city.

Antigen testing has started in the subdivision hospital of most districts for Simomatic people and antigen testing facility will be started in subdivision hospital in all districts by Tuesday. He informed that different health centers have been set up for investigation in urban areas, full information is being published in newspapers.

Jitendra Kumar, Additional Director General of Police, Police Headquarters said that the guideline issued by the government under Unlock-2 implemented from July 1 is being complied with. In the last 24 hours, 05 incidents have been registered and 06 people have been arrested.

During this period, 1,406 vehicles have also been seized and an amount of Rs 28 lakh 16 thousand 100 has been recovered as fine. Thus, 15 incidents have been registered since July 1 and 14 persons have been arrested. A total of 14,565 vehicles have been confiscated and an amount of Rs 03 crore 50 lakh 70 thousand 965 has been recovered as fine.

He told that continuous action is being taken not wearing masks. In the last 24 hours, an amount of Rs 04 lakh 52 thousand 850 has been recovered from 9,057 persons who did not wear masks. In this way, a fine of Rs 30 lakh 31 thousand 800 has been collected from 60,748 people who have not worn masks since July 05.

Strict steps are being taken against those being taken to deal with Kovid-19 and those who are obstructing the adherence to the new guidelines.
