R. Balki had said in an interview to Hindustan Times, “The question is, are they (Star Kids) unfair or of any great benefit? Yes, every aspect has its advantages and disadvantages, but I would like to ask a direct question? I Tell us a better artist than Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and we will argue. This is unfair with some artists like these who are probably some of the best artists. ”
Screenwriter and film editor Apoorva Asrani also reacted to Balki’s comment.
Apoorva tweeted, “Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkumar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Richa Chadha, many others are also great times if we look beyond A List film families. I like Ranbir and Alia. But they are not the only good artists. ”
He further wrote, “Pankaj Tripathi, Gajraj Rao, Amit Sadh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rasika Duggal, Swara Bhaskar, Shweta Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, Divya Dutta, Manav Kaul, Nawazuddin, Jeetu..Oh God, the talents we have Yes, I can continue counting their names. Now stop making noise on 3-4 names. ”
