3. Darjeeling Ropeway
The first cable car system in India was introduced in Darjeeling back then in 1968. This adventurous cable car can transport the passenger to the altitude of 7000 feet. The ride departs from the Northern part in Singamari. During the ride one can see the picturesque views from the higher altitude and the mountain ranges of Kanchenjunga Range and the rivers that flow between the mountains which captivate the visitor’s eyes. Presently, the ropeway has capacity up to 6 persons. There are up to 12 gondolas in operation and one can book 1 gondola by itself by buying six tickets.
